Katherine Christie, Director of Sales at Burke County Tourism
Katherine is the Group Sales Manager for the Burke County Tourism Development Authority. Katherine graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management and a minor in History. Before joining the TDA she worked as a front desk manager at a resort in Sugar Mountain, North Carolina and with internal reservations and wine sales at another nearby resort. She is very passionate about the impact tourism has on small communities and is excited to continue calling the mountains home here in Burke County. Katherine is a member of Meeting Professionals International and Association Executives of North Carolina.
