Scott and Julie Owens are the owners of Taste Full Beans. They have owned it for approximately 10 years and bought it from friends who owned it for 10 years prior to that. Scott and Julie have lived in the downtown area for almost 20 years and the Hickory area for almost 30 years and have 3 children ranging in age from 17 to 32. Scott and Julie are “working owners” and can most often be found at TFB.  They have both served on the Hickory Downtown Association Board in various capacities as well as the Farmers Market Board. Scott also teaches part-time at Lenoir-Rhyne University and Julie is retired from a corporate position in Human Resources. They have worked diligently to integrate their life and work experience into the daily running of TFB and have a strong commitment to their Team and paying living wages as well as creating a quality work experience.
